How to Give

Arbor, like most private schools, budgets a difference between what our program costs and full tuition. We fundraise more and raise tuition less, so a Montessori education is accessible to a broader range of students and families. The Annual Fund is how we close that financial gap. Our goal is 100% community participation: no gift is too small to make an impact. 

Donate to The Annual Fund

By attending ticketed community events throughout the year, families connect more deeply with our Montessori community. All proceeds from ticketed events also help support this year’s Annual Fund. 

Arbor has embarked on an ambitious $9.5 million expansion plan and is self-funding $9 million. We seek to raise the remaining $500,000 through the generous support of our community. Established in 2022, the Legacy Fund endowment gives future generations the opportunity to attend Arbor Montessori School. Endowed funds provide security for an independent school, and create opportunities for expansion.  As we launch this new fund, we encourage grandparents and alumni to make a one time gift to this fund.  Current staff and families are welcome to make a gift to the Legacy Fund in addition to the Annual Fund, but 100% participation in the Annual Fund should be their priority.

The Financial Aid Tax Credit (FATC) program provides an opportunity for Georgia taxpayers to redirect Georgia income tax dollars to provide financial aid assistance to incoming Arbor students that are eligible for entry into public school (ages 4, 5, and 6) OR who transfer to Arbor from public school or have been homeschooled. In honor of Jan’s dedication to the founding and continuation of the Adolescent Program, Arbor Montessori established the Jan Deason Adolescent Program Scholarship Fund to help students continue their Montessori education through their 8th year. Learn more about the Jan Deason Scholarship

Arbor has partnered with many organizations to provide additional funding for our programs through affiliated purchases. We encourage our parents and community to participate in these programs whenever possible!
