Supporting Arbor

Since its founding in 1970, Arbor Montessori has maintained a strong tradition of community care and service. From toddler to adolescence and beyond, our students learn that we all have ways of giving back and gifts that we can share. As we pass on our traditions of generosity, we ensure our legacy. We ask Arbor parents to engage in these same traditions. Through gifts of time, talent, and resources, Arbor families show meaningful support of the school, our work, and our mission. We encourage everyone to get involved in their child's school; there are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities.

None of the joyful work of the classrooms is possible without the support of our community. Fundraising ensures Arbor has the financial stability and flexibility to realize our mission and ensure a lasting legacy for future students. We invite Arbor families and friends to make gifts that are personally meaningful.

Montessori's Magic Number

Three is a magic number in our classrooms: three year class cycles, three period lessons, three hour work blocks. Parents can also support Arbor in three key ways. Your support is critical to Arbor’s success.

Support the Annual Fund

Arbor, like most private schools, budgets a difference between what our program costs and full tuition. We fundraise more and raise tuition less, so a Montessori education is accessible to a broader range of students and families. The Annual Fund is how we close that financial gap. Our goal is 100% community participation: no gift is too small to make an impact.

Arbor has embarked on an ambitious $9.5 million expansion plan and is self-funding $9 million. We seek to raise the remaining $500,000 through the generous support of our community.
