Welcome to the Lavista Campus

A bird's eye view of the Lavista Campus, November 1998
Alison Sherrill, Interim Head of School

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome our Scott Campus to Lavista Road. This moment represents far more than the consolidation of two campuses—it marks the next chapter in Arbor's commitment to growth and community. More than 20 years ago, the Board of Trustees cast what was then a symbolic vote to move toward a single campus. Today, that vision becomes a reality.

As we await the final permitting on our Ironwood building we look forward to opening a space where every classroom and gathering space has been thoughtfully designed to support curiosity, collaboration, and the well-being of our students and staff.

Many thanks to our families for your trust and partnership. Your belief in our vision made this consolidation possible, and we are grateful to continue this journey with you. The dedication, flexibility, and commitment shown by the faculty and staff continue to prove their professionalism and dedication to the students and our school.

As we begin this new chapter at Arbor, we do so grounded in our beliefs in Montessori education and energized by the possibilities ahead. I look forward to seeing Arbor grow into a vibrant, connected community that reflects the very best of who we are as a school.

Welcome! We are so glad you are here.
