A Love Letter to Our Scott Campus

This weekend, as we consolidate our campuses, we find ourselves feeling deeply reflective. It’s hard to believe our time at our Scott Campus is coming to an end. For many in our community, Scott has been both a school and a second home—a place of shared work, care, and connection.

Arbor has operated many satellite campuses across greater Atlanta. In 1978, we opened a primary classroom near Emory University to better serve that community—planting the seeds that would grow into the close-knit community known as the Emory Campus. In 2016, the classrooms moved into our beautifully renovated Scott Campus. Since then, Scott has supported almost ten years of learning and belonging.

Saying goodbye to this space is bittersweet. And yet, we are heartened knowing that what makes Arbor strong has never been a building—it is the people. Our community lives in our relationships, our shared values, and the care we extend to one another. That spirit will move with us into this next chapter.

To the children who took their first steps here, the guides who poured their love into every day, and the families who made this place a community: thank you. While the walls may change, the spirit of Arbor goes with us. We carry Scott forward in our stories, our relationships, and the work we continue together—now united on one campus, rooted in the same values, and growing toward what’s next. ðŸŒ±
