How Arbor Provides Access to Authentic Montessori Education

One of the most meaningful goals of Arbor's Annual Fund is providing more need-based tuition assistance for current and prospective Arbor students. Our mission calls us to build a community that reflects a range of socioeconomic backgrounds and to ensure every child—regardless of financial circumstance—has access to the authentic Montessori education that happens here.

Philanthropic giving makes this possible. Each year, we rely on support from donors to sustain and expand our financial aid budget, so families who value Montessori can be welcomed and supported at Arbor. It’s easy for us to share how powerful this is for our students, but the truest story comes directly from those who benefit:

One of our favorite things about Arbor Montessori School is the wonderful school-wide sense of community. Students from Lower Elementary make errands to Upper Elementary; Adolescent Program students mentor Primary students; everyone cheers on and supports Arbor’s sports teams. 

We are grateful for the financial support that has allowed us to be a part of this community: in particular, financial aid has allowed our oldest son to continue through the Adolescent Program, where building and relying on the relationships he’s formed in previous years has really helped him to thrive.
