The Phoenix are Arbor's no-cut athletics teams. Rather than focus on competitiveness and winning, Phoenix athletics emphasizes life skills: nutrition, mediation, teamwork, and inclusion.
All Arbor students become eligible to participate in Arbor's no-cut sports teams when they reach 6th grade. Students are encouraged to join a team and actively participate regardless of skill level, and all can enjoy the positive benefits of an athletics team experience. Phoenix athletes compete against other Atlanta-area independent schools in the Metro Atlanta Athletic Conference (MAAC).
Arbor looks forward to continuing our athletic successes into the 2024-2025 school year and will continue to offer three seasons of team sports to all 6th-8th years, regardless of experience or skill level.
Arbor's athletics teams rely heavily on parent support. Parents volunteer as coaches, assistant coaches, and team captains for every season. Please email Travis Naraine, Assistant AP Guide & Athletics Director, to submit your interest in volunteering for a 2024-2025 athletics season.
