Giving & Getting Involved

Arbor is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt corporation. All gifts to the school or its endowment are tax-deductible to the extent specified by law.

Why do we give?

Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating our children. To bridge the gap, each year Arbor relies on Annual fundraising campaign revenues to enhance the general operating budget of the school and help assure minimum tuition increases. Traditionally all funds raised provide the sole funding for Arbor’s Faculty Education Fund and Tuition Assistance Program, and special designated projects.

Who gives to Arbor?

The entire Arbor Montessori family! Each year Arbor relies on the voluntary support of our board, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and alumni, parents of alumni, friends and corporate matching gifts to realize our financial goals.

How do I give?

Beginning with the founders and continuing through today, Arbor has been truly blessed with the very best of the best.

The Annual Fund

A gift to the Annual Fund is the single most important gift you can make to Arbor. Pledge payments may be made monthly, quarterly or annually as a single gift payment. Every gift of every size is important to Arbor and to our students.

The Founders Fund

The Founders endowment fund was created in 2001 to provide a permanent and lasting resource for faculty and staff enrichment. The Founders Fund endowment will provide financial resources for faculty and staff enrichment. In addition, this fund serves to sponsor new teachers for Montessori training, support community education programs, and to contribute to special classroom projects.

Getting Involved

At Arbor we rely on time, talent, and financial support from our families and friends. You can become a PIC, serve on a Board Committee, sign up to help with the World Fair, bring your expertise to the auction—there are thousands of ways to help! For ideas, please contact the Director of Development and Parent Involvement. It is through your generosity and time that Arbor can serve our school for years to come.
