Montessori at its fullest

“With Arbor when I say it V’s out and it grows, I mean academically it is strong in the upper elementary and middle school. There is no wind down. There are no kids falling out. You have that full classroom.”

— Kristen Kametches, Arbor Parent

"the crown jewel” of Arbor.

At Arbor we believe that staying true to Montessori principles is best for the child. Therefore you see at Arbor an entire staff that is fully knowledgeable about and committed to the philosophy, and a fully articulated Montessori program at each level.

As a result of that commitment, Arbor is a school that is flourishing at every level. “There is no wind down”, as one Arbor parent aptly put it. In fact, many Arbor parents refer to our remarkable Adolescent (ages 12-14) program as “the crown jewel” of Arbor.

The Arbor Community is another aspect of our full Montessori commitment that is very important, especially to parents. We practice the core Montessori principle of respect not just in the classroom, but in everything we do. Said one parent:

“Their ability to really talk freely, openly, carefully, clearly about what is happening through the process and the meaning behind the process—we find that to be unusually impressive.”
